I had trouble pairing. I would get one then when I did the second one, the first one wouldn't work.

After calling customer support on Monday after much frustration on Sunday - the instructions say to press & hold the pairing button. DON'T press & hold. Just press & release. Pick your zone & activate the sensor to pair.

I'll add to my review on performance after they are both mounted and used a bit.

Hoping to save other customers from the hair pulling frustration.

I was leery of this because so many list a great range and do not live up to it.

First a little background. I live on 5 acres in the woods with my gate about 500 feet away from my house.
It is hard to know if anyone pulls up while in the house even with three dogs barking.
I have tried other sensors, and none would even come close to working that far away so I returned them.

This on was a very good surprise. I used my golf cart to judge the distance with a friend walking about 10 feet in front of the sensor. I just kept going as he passed by the sensor until I reached the house.
I was shocked it was still working. So the next test was to move the receiver into the house, again it still worked. I even tried it in the metal shed behind the house and it worked. It works over 500 feet for sure with trees, brick, metal, etc in the path of the signal.

This sensor works so great it even let me know a pack of coyotes was at my gate trying to bait my dogs out.
So yes I am glad this system works as advertised.

This is great, we have a driveway that comes off the main road, goes to our backyard and lets out into the alley between our house and the business next door. Unfortunately, despite having posted No Trespassing and Private Drive signs, people are still inclined to use our driveway as a thoroughfare. At least now, with this driveway monitor, I have a chance of catching them before they get away and at least getting a license plate, and a chance to warn them against using our driveway again unless they are planning on visiting us! Since there are two units that come with this, I can put one at the street opening and one at the alley opening. I also have a motion detection trail cam to record footage of any trespassers. I love this driveway alarm because it lets us know that at least someone is on our property! Easy to use right out of the box, and has hopefully started deterring some of our more frequent "visitors" from continuing to use our private drive!

This is a great product to have. It is easy to set up and it comes with everything you need to install it. It comes with the screwdriver and screws needed to hang them. It has different sounds to pick from for the alarm that goes off. It also has 3 different angles that you can set it for so it doesn't cause any false alarms. There is a volume button so you can decide how loud you want it to be. I just keep it beside me, so I keep the volume down. This would be great for single women and single mothers, it also would be perfect for someone living down a long driveway or for an elderly couple.

These are nice little driveway alarm. We live in the city and the way our house is set up, you don’t always realize when someone drives up. We have a couple of Neighbours with various types of driveway alarms, and they encouraged us to get one too. I waited a bit to write a review to be sure this was one we were really happy with and wanted to keep. So far they work perfectly! which is great because I can hear it all over and don’t have to worry that I’ll miss something.  All in all, I’m thrilled to have it. I feel safer knowing I have a bit of warning when someone pulls into our place.

I'm always ready to be underwhelmed by manufacturer's performance claims, but I was pleasantly surprised by this driveway alarm. My house is a long way from the street and the previous owner installed a wonderful gate complete with keypad and remote control. The one thing lacking is a way for a visitor to get into my property if they don't know the code or have a remote. Most times this is just fine, who wants random visitors anyway, but occasionally I would like to know when someone is trying to visit.

The installation of a two-way communicator was out of my budget, so I started to look for alternatives and found this. As I mentioned previously, I wasn't expecting it to work on my 800+ foot driveway. But it did!

Setup wasn't difficult, but I thought it had a couple of unnecessary steps. The video posted on here was a good help. It has 4 zones, but only zone 4 can be configured to change the tone. So unless you want the sound of the siren beginning The Purge, you'll want to use channel 4, which has 30+ chimes. Volume is adjustable and can be loud at the highest setting.
